25 years ago, Ameena Meer entered the world of fashion advertising as a writer with the understanding that what you say is as important as how you say it. I always believed that you should never sell anything you wouldn’t buy yourself, that you should honor your origins, respect your audience, love your products and find your greater purpose.

Today, I am a creative director, brand strategist, copywriter, healer and intuitive. I am a woman of color, a Muslim and a conscious ally for all BIPOC.

In India, a wallah is a person who does a specific business. A rickshaw wallah drives a rickshaw. A shawl wallah sells shawls. A chaiwallah sells tea.

Over 25 years in branding, concepting, packaging, copywriting and design for the some of the biggest names in the beauty and fashion industry in the U.S., India and Europe led me to a career as a guide, a healer, naturopath and a truthseeker. I’d like to bring that focus to your brand story or product.

1. MEDITATE

I tap into your field. I pay attention to blocks. I go out on the street, on twitter, tiktok, Instagram or amongst friends IRL. Your message hits harder if I go deeper into the history and ethos of your brand or company. I research competition, target audiences, unexpected audiences, the backstory and the zeitgeist. I connect with your needs.

2. EXPERIMENT

In the night kitchen, I percolate ideas. Free my subconscious mind and play with unconventional storytelling. Find images, videos, objects that inspire me. I call in spirits. I create mini focus groups to see what thrills and excites. I look for the umbrella idea.

3. DELIVER

I activate your strengths. I show you the big picture and the path forward. I hold space for your perfect vision. I deliver well thought-out executions with original angles and viewpoints. A sensualist, I create lush, palpable work that invites interaction, intellectually or physically. I collaborate with your thoughts and input. Innately, I challenge accepted ideas and touch a chord in your consumers’ hearts and minds.

I want you to love what you see. I work with you to give you results that transport you. Results that are worth the value of your investment.
